Whether you are welcoming a new baby, celebrating your senior year, updating your professional headshot, gathering your family for photos or showcasing your business, Lane and Mistie Photography is here to help. Since 2011, we have photographed thousands of families, professionals, and businesses throughout Midland and West Texas. We offer newborn photography, senior portraits, family photography, professional headshots, commercial photography, drone photography, and event photography. Our goal is simple: to create beautiful photographs while making the entire experience relaxed, organized, and enjoyable.
How long have you been doing photography?
We purchased a Canon 60D in 2010 for Lane's video projects. Soon after, friends asked us to shoot their family and newborn pictures. We fell in love with photography and have been voted as one of the best photographers in Midland! We now shoot with a Canon 6Dii and a Canon R6 and a variety of Canon Professional Portrait Lenses. Lane became a licensed drone pilot in 2025 and we now offer commercial drone services with our DJI Air 3S.
More About Us...
Lane works full time as a pastor at our church. He has a BA degree in Music Performance from East Texas Baptist University. He loves spending time with his family and being outside, especially riding his mountain bike. Mistie has an MBA and a BS in Business Management and Entrepreneurship from Louisiana Tech University and worked as an accountant before having kids. In addition to photography, she is a busy mama, works as a seasonal tax expert and still nerds out over excel spreadsheets.
